DESCRIPTIONS

Yoga Classes

All level practitioners are invited to find their flow.

Gentle Asana

A slower flow with less intensity includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. Practice includes warm up and static movements. Modifications are emphasized, accommodating all fitness levels to enjoy the benefits of yoga. Stretching, seated poses and low-impact movements encourages a comfortable pace creating less strain on muscles and joints. A great beginners class!

Hot Hatha Yoga Flow

A hot community yoga class rooted in tradition honors the energy of the sun—warmth, vitality, and illumination. This hatha slow flow blends breath, posture, and alignment in a conscious rhythm that strengthens while soothing. The intentional pace allows space for deeper awareness, collective energy, and community connection. A practice that shines light within, aligning body, mind, and spirit. All classes offer assists & time for reflection.

Private Yoga & Somatic Experience (email shavasanahome@gmail.com)

This practice blends yoga with somatic exploration. Each session guides you through movements honoring your body’s natural rhythms; release tension, improve mobility, & cultivate awareness. Breath, posture, & energy are dynamically cued, supporting deep tissue release & increased circulation. The session integrates reflective pauses, gentle assists, and opportunities for self-observation, creating  a safe space to explore emotional & physical patterns, restore balance, & recalibrate vitality.

Restorative

~ For lowering vibration, preparing for rest & natural healing ~

This restorative ~ immersive ~ calming class collaborates meditation, intention, breath, shapes held in time--safely supported by bolsters, blankets and blocks; offering mellow movement in between poses. This is an easy evening class to check in with body, mind and breath before "lights out". The class habituates and normalizes gratitude by initiating release of attachments accumulated during the day.

Wake Up on the Mat

An energizing early morning vinyasa flow with intention, pranayama & meditation starting your day as the sun rises. The class offers guidance through the poses and transitions to help you find the way the asana best fits your body. The class temperature will be warm and adjusted for group comfort.  

Silent Yoga

Practice with a silent, gentle yoga flow surrounded by soft music and a pose-only guided flow. Limiting additional cues will ease your way into a steady, pure hypnotic cadence~~consciousness with meditative movement.  

Warm Vinyasa

An energetic vinyasa flow with pranayama ~ mindfully guiding you through the transition to help you discover how the pose best fits your body. The class temperature will be warm and adjusted for group comfort.  

Yin & Yang

Enjoy a delightful breath-centered vinyasa flow practice coupled with yummy yin poses that will enliven and restore the body, focus and calm the mind and elevate the spirit. Hands-on assists and Reiki healing energy will be offered throughout the practice. 

 

This class includes:

  • A breath-led vinyasa practice blended with yin/restorative poses 
  • Assists and energy healing
  • Guided relaxation and meditation

Yoga Flow

This blended weekend class moderates temperature and flow with community connection. The practice is dynamically and synchronistically cued for breath, posture, and energy. The intentional and mindful class honors the group as a whole. All classes offer assists and reflective community according to student's discretion.  

Great place for anyone who thinks that they do or don't have to be "flexible" to do yoga. All welcome flow.
